I've noticed that quite a few celebrities who vape. From Katy Perry to Johny Depp, I don't think the vaping movement (if we can call it like that) could really have better advertising. What do you guys think, will the celebrities lead more people to vape?
I think the exposure is great for the vaping industry. People always want to copy celebs so there you go. On a tangent, I love her bright yellow outfit! Anyways, I think that it will help persuade legislation that vaping isn't as bad as they think it is.
I wish that was true really cerebral79, but I doubt it. While it's great to make vaping more known and followed by people that love that celebrities, I don't think that tocacco and pharma lobbies will fight with all they have for their share of the market.

I had no idea so many celebrities were vaping, I think it's a great way to call attention to it, especially with young teenagers who instead of starting to smoke, start vaping instead, hopefully there will be less and less young smokers and more and more vapers.

If anything they are at least trying to break into the market by either creating their own or buying other ecig companies. I have read that one Asian comapny has already been purchased by a US tobacco comapny, and Lorillard the makers of Newport cigs bought the Blu brand

I agree, until I saw that link Gelsemium posted I had no idea Katy Perry, Paris Hilton and so on all vaped and in fact they are role models for different types of youths, so way better to smoke than to vape. Go celebrity vapers!

Yeah, I am not surprised with that, the same is happening with watches companies for example facing the smartwatches they want to buy what will work in the future, and I have no doubt that the future belongs to vaping and not regular cigarettes.
I'd love to see the Marlboro man with an e-cig...!
There are several celebrities who have gone to vapor. It truly is taking off and growing as an industry and trend. Jenny Mccarthy is the one that sticks out the most. She even did a commercial. Yes it was paid but, she really does use e-ciggs. With celebrities on the trend it will continue to grow and take off.
